savings time.  At precisely 10:00 a.m. the class stopped, and wrote positive
notes to each other, and then they were posted on our Zazzle board.  Everyone
thought it was a good idea, so we are going to repeat it once a day from now on.
Thanks for the great suggestions!!!" Margaret Bly,3rd grade,  Roskruge,

comments: We closed our eyes and thought of someone that we could send
kindness and positive thoughts to.  Then on the count of three we opened our
eyes and took our hand to our hearts and pretended to pull zazzles from it.
Zazzles were sent into the air to those that we thought about. We felt zazzley, like
fuzzy, soft.  We felt extra good!

Comments :  My students were smiling and excited about the work we were
doing in class as a result of the shared moment.  It was a whole new energy!
Many of my students thought of their parents and family members and all of the
support and love they give.  One student thought about the troops in Iraq, and
another thought about the overall safety of our school.  It was a very rewarding
experience to share these thoughts for everyone involved!

have good "vibes". The children also discussed that being around a negative
person is not pleasant and is a real bummer"  They sited examples and
discussed what they do to make themselves more positive.  An example was to
remember all the good things in their life.
